Sea breeze and green spaces will continue to be important in the future! ~ We made a prediction of temperature in Yokohama city ~

Based on a comprehensive partnership agreement, the City of Yokohama, Environmental Planning Bureau Institute of Environmental Sciences and the National Research and Development Agency Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) conducted numerical simulations of future temperatures in the city and predicted two possible future cases of climate change.
Until now, it was known that "sea breeze has the effect of suppressing the rise in temperature during the day, and green spaces have the effect of reducing nighttime temperatures." However, as a result of this simulation, even in the future of warming, the sea breeze and green spaces continue to be important.
