[Press Release] Yokohama Zoo ZOORASIA Tsushima wildcat successful artificial insemination received the Koga Prize, the highest prize in Japan for rare species breeding.

　At Yokohama Zoo and Preservation and Research Center, City of Yokohama, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums, we are engaged in breeding under the breeding of Tsushima wildcat, a rare wild animal species that live only in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture, on March 18, 2021.
　Yokohama Zoo received the 36th Koga Prize at the 2022 Ordinary General Meeting of Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums on May 27. This is the second award in Yokohama since Preservation and Research Center was awarded the Bali Myna Protection Project in 2015.
