[Press Release] We have formulated the "Yokohama City Sewerage Decarbonization Plan"! 　Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the sewerage business by 50% in FY2030 and virtually zero (carbon neutral) in FY2050

　Yokohama City Hall is one of the largest emitters in the city, accounting for about 5% of the city's greenhouse gas emissions. Among them, emissions from the sewerage business are the second highest after the municipal solid waste treatment business, accounting for about 20% of the entire city hall business. Therefore, for the promotion of more steady reductions, we have formulated the "Yokohama City Sewerage Decarbonization Plan" that systematically summarizes specific initiatives in the sewerage business.
