[46th meeting] Participated in Midori Ward Winter Youth Soccer Tournament, Kamoi Welfare Festival and Nakayama Festival

From 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, we visited the opening ceremony of the 2022 Midori Ward Winter Youth Soccer Tournament held at Nagasakaya Park Multipurpose Plaza. The day was blessed with wonderful fine weather, and energetic boys and girls gathered early in the morning.

This month, the FIFA World Cup Qatar Games will finally begin. It will be a good opportunity for children to see the excellent play of players from all over the world, including the Japanese national team, and expand their dreams for the future, and to grow in each.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Midori Ward Youth Football Federation (Chairman: Tomo Hashimoto) and many other stakeholders for their efforts.

From 10 am, we visited the "Kamoi Welfare Festival" held at Kamoi Elementary School.

This year's 22nd Kamoi Welfare Festival will be held at Kamoi Elementary School for the first time in three years.

Thank you very much for the planning and preparation of infectious disease countermeasures, including the Japan National Council of Social Welfare, the Union of Neighborhood Association, and other related organizations.

It was very impressive that everyone who participated went around each booth happily, and everyone at each booth was smiling and kindly and polite.
I also enjoyed talking with everyone at each booth, and I was very energetic.

After the Kamoi Welfare Festival, we participated in the Nakayama Festival held at Nakayama Shopping Street.

This was also held for the first time in three years, and it was crowded with very many people due to wagon sales, station square stages, mini-electric bus ride experience, etc. by shopping district member stores. The visitors seemed to be looking forward to this day, and everywhere was full of smiles and happy voices.

We pay tribute to the efforts of the people involved in the event, including the Nakayama Shopping Street Cooperative, and hope that such events will gradually resume and deepen local ties will be further deepened.
