[26th meeting] A ward athletics competition was held jointly by Midori Ward and Aoba Ward!

The 36th Midori Ward Athletics Competition was held at Mitsuzawa Athletics Stadium on Saturday, July 23, hosted by the Midori Ward Association of Athletic Federations (Chairman: Hideo Mochizuki). This tournament is jointly held with the 28th Aoba Residents Athletics Competition.

On the day, there were no spectators to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, but under the harsh sunshine and heat of midsummer, elementary school students (4th grade and above), junior high school students, general (including high school students), middle age (40 years old) Athletes of various ages (approximately 1,200 people) participated, and very hot battles were seen in each division of track and field competitions.

After the opening ceremony, I also served as the starter of the competition. Even in one minute and one second, he mutters in his heart to the serious expressions of the players just before starting the race aiming for their personal best.
"On your acclaims" and then from the Rikuren, the pistol cannon!　The brave appearance of the players who start all at once is a masterpiece.
We hope that it will be a memorable tournament for everyone and that we can grow into an active player in the world!
