[33rd] Celebration of longevity!

September 14, 2022

Last update date September 16, 2022

We visited the 109-year-old Hisao Ikeda, the oldest man in Midori Ward and Kanagawa Prefecture, to celebrate longevity. (The oldest person in the city is 112 years old.)
I visited day service (elderly day care)'s "Enjoy Mu Tokaichiba" which I go to three days a week. We handed message from the mayor and celebration items (tea and jelly) from the mayor and talked.
Mr. Ikeda talked about his hardship as a company president during his service and during the period of high economic growth. He has been playing gateball for 40 years from the age of 60 to 100 years old, and went on an expedition not only in Japan but also Hawaii. After all, I felt that moving my body and having fun talking was the secret of longevity.
The smile is wonderful, surrounded by my family, and I spend a calm time. I hope you will stay healthy and long.
I swear to my heart that I will do my best.
Finally, I took a commemorative photo with my family. Thank you very much for your great time.
