What's new! Nishi Ward Tekutekuteku: The 61st Sugiyama Shrine

There is Sugiyama Shrine next to Nishi Ward Office. It is said to have been founded in 652 (Hakuchi 3) and is also called "Hama no Daikoku-sama". Three years ago, the shrine was renovated, and the pillars were painted vermilion and became beautiful.
When you enter the precincts where the trees grow, you will find a sacred tree on the left, and there is a rare pair of stone-making "Koma Rats" stands in front of the shrine. Turn the rotary pedestal and make a request. The religion of the surrounding people, which has developed as a common town, is still strong.
When I was a child, the summer festival fair was crowded with many children. Stalls such as goldfish scooping are lined up on both sides of the road from the main street and on the precincts, and there was a hut showing rare things in the back. There was a shop selling "wooden folding magnifyer" where you can draw portraits from photos. The actor Kanjuro Arashi Kanjuro's "Kurama Tengu" was exactly the same. I bought it. I'm also drawing caricatures at work, and that's why.
