About 1.1 kilometers straight from the front of JR NEGISHI LINE Sakuragi-cho Sta. to Takashimacho Intersection, a series of concrete pillars supporting the elevated Toyoko Line. It looks like a castle wall that protects the new city Minatomirai district.
At present, the JR Negishi Line and a part of the freight line were made by Kaemon Takashima, an Australian merchant in the early Meiji era, reclaiming land for the railway line from Nogeura to Aokicho Beach.
