What's new! Nishi Ward Tekutekuteku: The 52nd Sakainotani Park

Get off at the Sakainotani Las Terumae bus stop near Kuboyama, go up the steep slope next to the Sakainotani Fire Department Store.
The park opened in 1976 (Showa51). There is a children's log house (little children) in the park, and the first and second floors are athletic facilities, where children play around.
Inside the park, there is a young man statue built to commemorate the birthplace of Kanagawa University. In 1929 (Showa 4), a wooden one-story "Yokohama College" was established, the predecessor of Kanagawa University, in this area. The following year, the school site could not be expanded, so he moved to Rokkakubashi, Kanagawa-ku. After the relocation, this place was called "specialized square."
Today, in the park where the log house is located, the children's energetic voices are always constant. Part of Kanagawa University opened the Minato Mirai Campus in April last year.
