Naka Library Target List for Fiscal 2024
This year, Naka Library will focus on the following targets: This list of goals is based on the basic policy and direction of initiatives of the "Yokohama City Library Vision", and also based on the "Yokohama City Medium-Term Plan", "Yokohama City Educational Promotion Basic Plan", "Reading Activity Promotion Goals" of each ward, etc. Has been formulated.

Basic Policy 1 Library for children who will lead the future
Direction of Initiatives: Create opportunities to expand the world of children.
Enhance books for children and books for child care
Efforts
- I will replace and refill old tale books and story books. (30 books)
- I will replace and replenish the book of the vehicle. (20 books)
- We will replace and replenish works and materials related to units introduced in textbooks used from 2024. (50 books)
We provide experiences and play that can be enjoyed in various senses, such as touching and listening.

After observing nature in the park for elementary school students, a "forest nature game" will be held at the library to try to decipher the puzzle of the forest. (From October to November)
We connect knowledge and experience to draw out the desire to "want to know" and "create" and respond to it.

- We participate in "Naka Ward Book Festa" in cooperation with ward office and facilities, group in ward with lucky bag of book. (October to November)
We will send push-type information that actively communicates.

- Books based on the seasons and themes will be exhibited at the general and elementary school student sections. (Monthly)
- Public information Yokohama Naka Ward version, library homepage, town news, and regular events by the Naka Ward community broadcasting station Marine FM.
- Naka Library X account provides information on closed days, talks, events, etc. (at least 5 times a month)
- At the time of registration renewal, we will distribute information on the storytelling party to nursery schools and kindergartens that use group lending (May)
Direction of Initiatives: We support child, child care generation in connection with child care support facility and school, area and the connection.

We will enhance materials and services to realize reading barrier-free.
Efforts
We collect large print books that are easy to read even for people with weak eyesight. (30 books)
We collect a wide range of books and enhance the collection in order to create opportunities to get acquainted with books and learn deeply.

We will create an inclusive environment that is easy for anyone to use regardless of age, disability, nationality, etc.
