From October 2015, the mutual aid pension was unified to Employee Pension Plan (Kosei Nenkin) (outside site).
※Each mutual aid association (organization) will continue to provide pension benefits.
Claiming destination for disability welfare pension
You will be paid if you have a disability due to illness or injury on a first visit (Shoshin) day (the day you first consulted a doctor) while you are enrolled in Employee Pension Plan (Kosei Nenkin) and meet certain requirements.
- Depending on the degree of disability, the disability welfare pension is classified into grades 1, 2, and 3, and other disability benefits (lump-sum payment).
- Disability Basic Pension is also included in the event of a first or second grade disability welfare pension.
- The minimum security for the third grade is 612,000 yen per year (610,300 yen per year for those born before April 1, 1956) (FY2024).
