Public pension, etc. Unpaid pension

pension is paid up to the month of death. If pension, which was supposed to be paid to the deceased, remains, the pension will be paid if the bereaved family who had the same livelihood claim it. This is called the unpaid pension.
Please note that if this notification is delayed, you may receive too much pension and you may have to refund it later.

Person who can receive payment

The range and rankings of those who can receive the payment are as follows.

  1. Scope of bereaved families who can receive payment: A spouse, child, parent, grandchild, grandparent, siblings, or relatives within the third degree other than these persons who had the same livelihood at the time of the death of the beneficiary. Those who had the same livelihood
  2. Order that can be paid: This is the order of 1.

Inquiries regarding procedures

If the deceased had received an old-age pension or a survivor's welfare pension, please contact the pension office. If you have received only the Disability Basic Pension, Survivor's Basic Pension and Widow's Pension, please contact the ward office Insurance and Pension Division National Pension Plan Section.
