If you pay all the years you can join
pension amount (full) of basic retirement pension = 816,000 yen (813,700 yen for those born before April 1, 1956)

816,000 yen (813,700 yen for those born before April 1, 1956) x {number of months of premium payment + (full exemption months x 1/2) + (1/4 payment months x 8/8) + (1/2 payment months x 3/4) + (3/4 payment months x 7/8} / 40 years or number of years you can join x December .
※For the exemption period before March 2009, one-third for full exemption, 1/4 payment is 1/2, half payment is two-thirds, and 3/4 payment is 6/6 Calculated as 5.
•Special student payment period: It will not be reflected in the pension amount unless additional payment is made within 10 years.
•When you pay the additional premium: 200 yen x additional pension for the number of months of payment of the additional premium will be added.

For those born before April 1, 1941, if you have paid all premiums for the period from 1961 to the age of 60 (this period is called the number of years you can join), you will receive a full old age basic pension as well as those who did.
However, if there is a period during which the exemption was granted, the total period, or a period in which the premium was not paid, the pension amount of the basic retirement pension will be reduced accordingly.
