The 38th Tokyo Bay Cleanup Strategy

Tokyo Bay Cleanup Strategy Poster

In Tokyo Bay, in addition to natural garbage such as driftwood and grass, there are many empty cans and PET bottles.
At Port and Harbor Bureau, we clean sea surfaces (collection, separation and disposal) every day to ensure safe navigation of ships and maintain the environment.
The Tokyo Bay Cleanup Strategy is based on the “Sea Month” (July 1-July 31), the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the 3rd Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, and each port in Tokyo Bay In order to make everyone aware of the importance of collecting floating debris and oil on the sea surface, and to promote environmental conservation in Tokyo Bay, we will not throw away garbage on the sea or rivers.
At the same time, panel data introducing cleaning activities in Tokyo Bay will be posted on digital signage in the Immigration Lobby of the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal from July 1 to July 31.
