On August 2, 2023, Deputy Deputy Prime Minister Douglas Uga Embass of Sarawak, Malaysia, visited Yokohama Port, where ENEOS Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation are working together with local companies to build a CO2-free hydrogen supply chain utilizing renewable energy, and CCUS initiatives to actively promote in the future.
Yokohama City explained the national policy and Yokohama Port's initiatives for carbon neutral ports.
