On May 30, 2023, Minister of Energy, Mineral Resources and Low Carbon Innovation of British Columbia, Canada, visited Yokohama Port and visited the methanation facility of Yokohama Techno Station, Tokyo Gas Columbia.
Yokohama City explained about initiatives for carbon neutrality, and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. explained methanation, and exchanged opinions.
Minister Jozy Osborn and Director Hiroya Nakano confirmed that they will continue to cooperate in decarbonization efforts.
