Formation of LNG bunkering sites (fuel supply bases)

Last update date November 14, 2022

Yokohama City is working to promote the spread of LNG (liquefied natural gas), the only next-generation vessel fuel.
As an international strategic container port policy, we will form a bunkering base in Yokohama Port for LNG-fueled vessels, which are increasing year by year. By using Yokohama Port as an LNG bunkering base, we will promote port calls mainly on core North American routes and aim to return to the port as a hub port in East Asia.
※Bunkering: To supply fuel to the ship.
