On October 19, 2023, Yokohama Port and Oakland Port have built fruitful friendship and cooperation to promote trade and trade, since the sister port alliance (May 1980). The two ports have signed a memorandum of understanding on the Green Shipping Corridor with the aim of further strengthening and improving relations toward the realization of a decarbonized society.
