Last Updated date September 8, 2023
Domestic transport of marine containers by coastal feeder vessels can be transported in large quantities at once, so CO2 emissions per tonne are lower than truck transport, making it an energy-saving and environmentally friendly transportation mode.
In recent years, the number of ports of call for large-scale ocean-going vessels has been concentrated in Japan. In order to maintain and expand these ports at Yokohama Port, it is important to strengthen domestic shipping feeder transport and collect cargo at Yokohama Port is an important issue.
