It is said that the transportation of marine containers by railway has advantages such as safety and certainty, and that CO2 emissions per ton are low, which is said to be effective in saving energy in terms of environmental measures.
Yokohama Port is transported by marine containers and JR containers based on Yokohama Honmoku Station and Hommoku Futo Station of the Kanagawa Rinkai Railway, and plays an important role in collecting cargo from a wide area.
