[Board of Education Secretariat] Recruitment of Fiscal Year Appointment Staff (Special Support School Nurses [No ride / Yes] / Monthly job) Recruitment April 1, 2025 Recruitment

City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat is recruiting nurses (fiscal year appointment staff) to provide medical care for elementary school student students at municipal special needs schools. If you are applying, please apply according to the following guidelines.

We are looking for no school support vehicle (normal frame) and vehicles (sharing frame).

This page is a recruitment guide for regular slots and ride slots.

  • The application form is in common. There is a column in the middle of the application form that describes [the desired job type], so be sure to fill it out.
  • Application qualifications, application acceptance period, working conditions, etc. are different, so please check each content carefully.
  • Interviews on [Normal slot] and [Side slot] for those who apply concurrently will be held on the same day. Evaluation will be conducted in each case.

※This offer will be finalized in the Yokohama City Council after the budget decision in 2025. If the 2025 budget is not voted on by the Yokohama City Council, it may not be adopted even if it passes the selection.

Eligibility

[Common to regular slots and ride slots]
Those who have a regular nurse license (required)
※ Those who fall under the disqualifications of Article 16 of the Local Public Service Act cannot take the exam.
※ There is no upper limit on age.

In addition to the above, those who have practical experience in medical care for infants, elementary school student, or students at special needs schools or who are recognized by City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat as having the same experience or ability.

Selection

 We will decide who will be hired by interview.
  ・Scheduled interview date: Monday, February 17, Tuesday, 18th, Wednesday, 19th,
           Thursday, 20th and Friday, 21st
  ・Interview location: Yokohama City Hall (10, 6-50 Honcho, Naka-ku, Yokohama City)
 
 Those who plan to hire will be asked to consult physical checkup on the following schedule.
  ・Scheduled date of consultation: Thursday, March 13 and Friday, March 14
         Reception hours is from 14:00 to 15:00 on both days.

Municipal special support school nurse (commuting support vehicle riding (equivalent to school))
Major Operations
  1. Municipal Special Needs School elementary school student Medical Care in School Life
  2. Training of medical care (specific actions) for teachers
  3. Other services related to medical care
  4. Other disaster response services in the event of a large-scale disaster (basically auxiliary services, only during working hours)

※ Depending on the health condition of elementary school student students and Address, a maximum of two people will be available per vehicle.
※ This is a ride on a school support vehicle for elementary school student students at work school. In schools before and after boarding, we will work for all elementary school student students who need medical care like other school nurses.

Working school

 One of the following schedules is available.
 However, depending on the future vacancies, etc., we may consider including one of the six nursery schools (Higashimatano Special Needs School).
 We will make adjustments including the applicant's wishes and notify you when the pass notification is sent. (scheduled for early March)

One of the following schedules is available.
 However, depending on the situation of vacancies in the future, we may consider including three of the six nursery schools (Kami Sugeta Special Needs School, Wakabadai Special Needs School, Higashimatano Special Needs School).
 We will make adjustments including the applicant's wishes and notify you when the pass notification is sent. (scheduled for early March)

Working hours

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (interest: 60 minutes)

6 hours a day (and 60 minutes a break)
The decision will be made based on the time required for the target elementary school student students to go to school.
1. From 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (interest 60 minutes)
2. 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (60 minutes break)
3. From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (interest 60 minutes)
4. 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (60 minutes break)
5. 9:30 am to 4:30 pm (interest 60 minutes)
6. 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (60 minutes break)
Example:
[In the case of a boarding pass]
8:00: Boarding a school support vehicle → elementary school student's house → 9:00: Arriving at school with elementary school student → Until 3:00: Care in school → Leave school
[In the case of a boarding pass from school]
9:00: Go to school → Care in school → 3:00: Departure from school with elementary school student → elementary school student's house → 4:00: Get off at a school support vehicle
※ In principle, ride on vehicles five times a week
(It is counted as one time to go to school and one time to leave school. If you ride both, it will be counted as 2 times.)
※ Target elementary school student students may be subject to change within the year.
※ During summer, winter, school year-end and spring holidays when elementary school student students do not attend school are from 9am to 4pm.

Monthly salary

244,400 yen
※The amount of compensation is the estimated amount as of November 2024. Subject to change due to system revision etc. In addition, it may be revised during the appointment period.
※End-of-term, diligence allowance, and commuting expenses (equivalent to actual expenses) are paid separately according to Yokohama City standards.

Employment period

One year from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 (*There is an update rule)
※ If a job with the same job content is set up after the expiration of the above appointment period, and if the results of the proof of competence are good, it may be re-appointed regardless of public offering. (up to 4 times)
※ After the appointment of up to four times, the selection will be made again by open call for participants.
※ Due to the application of the Local Public Service Act, it will be adopted conditionally, and the conditional recruitment period may be extended if the number of working days in one month after recruitment does not meet 15 days.
