Under the "Zero Carbon Yokohama", Yokohama City is strengthening measures to combat global warming and energy measures, and is promoting initiatives to realize a sustainable urban model.
As part of this, we are making use of the demonstration results of the Yokohama Smart City Project (YSCP) to develop a virtual power plant (VPP) construction project through public-private partnerships.
Yokohama will participate in the demonstration project of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry conducted by Tokyo Electric Power Company Energy Partner Co., Ltd. and five other companies, Yokohama City will participate in the demonstration project of the VPP demonstration project of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
Yokohama City will provide Asahi Public Works Office as a demonstration field.
