As one of the projects of the Yokohama SDGs Design Center, we contribute to the deplasticization of the SDGs straw Yokohama, a wooden straw made from Yokohama.

Yokohama City is promoting initiatives in collaboration with citizens, companies, universities, etc., centered on the Yokohama SDGs Design Center* (hereinafter referred to as the "Design Center"), with the aim of realizing the SDGs Future City Yokohama.
This time, the Design Center plays a central role, and with the invention and cooperation of the company, thinned wood from the water source forest owned by Yokohama City in Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture is used as a raw material, and a special subsidiary of city companies. ※A wooden straw from Yokohama, "SDGs straw Yokohama" produced by people with disabilities, has been completed. This straw will be widely spread and expanded to restaurants and hotels in the city as the Yokohama Wood straw project (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”).
