Wakame's local production for local consumption in Wakame has three effects: (1) preventing global warming, (2) improving water quality, and (3) increasing biodiversity.
In order to inform children of the three effects of wakame's local production and local consumption, we will hold an event where you can experience harvesting "wakame" at Umi Farm" facility "Umi Farm" in Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, Yokohama.
Through this event, you can learn about the fact that wakame is cultivated in the sea of Kanazawa Ward and the three effects of local production for wakame.
