We participated in online exchange between Ben Tema Elementary School and Tsuzuki Ward   Chigasaki Elementary School in the Republic of Botswana!

　elementary school studenｔ, a third-year student at Ben Tema Elementary School in the Republic of Botswana and elementary school studenｔ, a third-year student at Chigasaki Elementary School in Tsuzuki Ward  .
　Both schools have deepened exchanges through painting at the "Tsuzuki-Botswana Exchange Children's Drawing Exhibition" which started in 2016. As this project celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, we conducted an online exchange connecting the two schools, and with the full cooperation of the Embassy of both countries and JICA, a long-awaited exchange was realized.
　Chigasaki Elementary School performed recorder, Mount Fuji songs, and Goo Choki Par, and Ben Tema Elementary School performed traditional songs and dances that have been sung locally. We enjoyed the differences in culture and applauded each other. We asked each other, such as the state of the class, food, and the subjects learned in class, and were surprised at the differences and commonalities, and deepened their understanding.
　Despite distances and language barriers, it was a day when I wanted to know each other, my heart would pass. I would like to continue precious and wonderful exchanges with the children who will lead the future.
