Participated in online exchange between Ben Tema Elementary School in Botswana and Tsuzuki Ward   Chigasaki Elementary School!

　elementary school studenｔ, a third-year student at Ben Tema Elementary School in the Republic of Botswana, and elementary school studenｔ, a third-year student at Tsuzuki Ward   Chigasaki Elementary School.
　Both schools have deepened exchanges through paintings at the "Tsuzuki Botswana Exchange Children's Painting Exhibition" started in 2016. As this project celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, as the first attempt, we conducted an online exchange that connects the two schools, and with the full cooperation of the embassies of the two countries and JICA, a long-awaited exchange was realized.
　Chigasaki Elementary School performed recorders, songs of Mount Fuji, and performances of Guo Choki Par, and Ben Tema Elementary School performed traditional songs and dances that have been sung locally, and children enjoyed cultural differences and applauded each other. . I asked each other about the class, food, subjects I learned in class, etc., and was surprised at the differences and commonalities, and deepened my understanding.
　Even though there were distances and language barriers, if I tried to know each other, it was a day when I felt again that I could communicate with each other. I would like to continue to have valuable and wonderful exchanges with the children who will lead the future.
