September is the Keiro Month that celebrates the longevity of the elderly who have contributed to society for many years.
Tsuzuki Ward has 80 people (as of September 1) who will be over 100 years old by the end of this fiscal year.
On September 20, we paid a courtesy call to Mikio Tokuue, the oldest (male) in the city, gave congratulations, and handed out souvenirs.
Mikio Tokuue was 104 years old, born in 1918. I'm in a facility in Yokohama.
Even now, he still enjoys his hobbies such as listening to music and Suidoku every day, but he also liked sports and enjoyed tennis until the age of 100. I was very fine and I was able to get up to this point.
I hope that you will continue to stay healthy and calm, and that you will have a longevity.
Kenichi Sasada, Director of Tsuzuki
