September is Keiro Month! I visited the celebration of the oldest man in the city.
September is Respect for the Elderly Month, which celebrates the longevity of the elderly who have contributed to society for many years.
There are 80 people in Tsuzuki Ward who are over 100 years old in the current fiscal year (as of September 1).
On September 20, we paid a courtesy call to Mikio Tokuue, the oldest (male) in the city, conveyed congratulations and handed out souvenirs. .
Mikio Tokuue was 104 years old, born in 1918. You are in a facility in Yokohama city.
Even now, he seems to be enjoying his hobbies such as music appreciation and several Germany every day, but he also likes sports and enjoys tennis until the age of 100. It was very fine and I was able to get well here.
From now on, I hope you will continue to spend a healthy and calm life and have a long life.
Mayor of Tsuzuki Kenichi Sasada
