Warm and cozy Chako Village hut
It is said that the dyer Hisae Kashiwazaki and members of Chako Village, he succeeded in dyeing the long-awaited main indigo dyeing.
In addition to a variety of vegetables, sesame and cotton are also grown.
I visited "Chako Village".
I went to "Chako Village" in Higashiyamada Town!
"Chako Village" is a "place for everyone" where everyone can stop by whenever they want and spend their time. There are huts, open space and field, and it is open from 9:00 to 14:00 on fire, tree and Saturday with representative Keiko Kikushima, the representative, relatives and neighbors who cooperate.
"Originally the owner of the hut was my grandmother, Chako. Grandma loves spending time in this hut while working in the field, and both children and adults were invited to pass by in front of them, drinking tea together and enjoying chatting, "said Kikushima. It seems that "Chako Village" was renovated and opened.
During about an hour I visited, elementary school students on the way home from school opened the door and stopped by, came to pick up sweets, and a pair of high school students were chatting happily, Some people do work in the field. I understand how everyone is spending their time freely. "It's hard to go to school, but you can come here." There are children, and it seems to be a place to catch such children and watch them gently.
It's a very nice place to relax. Please come and visit us.
