September is Keiro Month! I visited for the celebration of the oldest person in the city

September is Respect for the Elderly Month, which celebrates the longevity of the elderly who have contributed to society for many years.
There are 80 people in Tsuzuki Ward   who are over 100 years old in the current fiscal year (as of September 1).
On September 15, we paid a courtesy call to Toyo Ando, the oldest (female) in the city, congratulated him and handed out souvenirs.
Toyo Ando was born in 1915 and is 108 years old. Currently, he is admitted to a facility in Yokohama city, and at the facility he eats himself and enjoys his favorite rice crackers every day for snacks. I told you that you are still healthy without taking any medicine for chronic illness.
I felt the splendor of getting older and was very energetic.
From now on, I hope you will continue to spend a healthy and calm life and have a long life.

 Mayor of Tsuzuki Kenichi Sasada
