Participated in "Hato de Volunteer STEP UP Festa"

　
　On Sunday, August 13, we participated in the “Hato de Volunteer STEP UP Festa” (sponsored by MY Plaza) held at the Nakamachidai District Center.
　During the exhibition presentation, we observed an exhibition of the results of a questionnaire survey on truancy that junior and senior high school students created. The junior and senior high school students who were in charge of this booth directly told us what kind of thoughts they were doing and how they received the results of the survey, and I often think again about truancy, which was a very valuable experience.
　In addition, at the event, various hands-on events were held, such as vegetable stamps and paint making for the effective use of discarded vegetables, folk dances in Nepal and India, and folk costume experiences from various countries. The children seemed to be very happy.
　The number of participants of this year's “Hato de Volunteer” was 375, the highest ever, and I strongly feel the growing needs of young volunteers. Tsuzuki Ward   will continue to work with related organizations to foster healthy youth.
