I attended the graduation ceremony of Tokyo Yokohama Germany Gakuen.

I attended the graduation ceremony of Tokyo Yokohama German Academy on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Tokyo Yokohama Germany Gakuen is one of the foreign German schools licensed by the Federal Republic of Germany, and is the oldest overseas German school in East Asia. The students are nationalities in about 20 countries, including Germany and Japan, Switzerland and Austria, and they study in an international environment.
Tsuzuki Ward   also engages in cultural and international exchanges with residents of the city, including the Oktoberfest and German Christmas Market in Tsuzuki.
This year, we celebrated the start of 29 graduates.
The ceremony was very exciting, with congratulations from school officials and ambassadors from various countries, as well as band performances by graduates. I also spoke at the beginning of the congratulations in unfamiliar German, and received warm applause.
Director General would be very pleased if what he has learned and experienced in the land of Tsuzuki, Yokohama, will serve as an opportunity to think about a peaceful world in which diversity is recognized.
 Congratulations on your graduation!

 Kenichi Sasada, Director of Tsuzuki
