Global warming countermeasures for city ordering work
Last Updated January 25, 2021
Yokohama City has set the goal of "Zero Carbon Yokohama" decarbonization by 2050 as the goal of global warming countermeasures.
In construction of Motoichi order, we recommend active utilization such as renewable energy to promote "zero greenhouse gas emission".
How to use renewable energy
We will introduce examples of specific methods so that you can actively carry out global warming countermeasures in Motoichi ordering construction.
We ask construction companies to actively consider using them as part of CSR activities and SDGs initiatives.
1 Utilization of renewable energy in construction power supply, etc.
For power supplies used in construction and on-site offices, global warming countermeasures can be taken by switching to power sources that emit less greenhouse gases.
・Switching power supply to renewable energy power menu
It is possible to switch on-site offices and construction power sources to a power menu with a high renewable energy ratio prepared by electricity retailers.
Yes.
・Utilization of renewable energy by installing solar power generation facilities
Renewable energy can be introduced by installing solar power generation facilities and wind power generation facilities in site offices.
・Green Power Certificate
By purchasing a green power certificate when using a normal power menu, the amount of electricity purchased is regarded as renewable energy.
You can do it.
2 Carbon offset
The amount of carbon dioxide emitted at the construction site can be calculated based on the operating hours of operating equipment (construction machinery, transportation vehicles, commuting vehicles, generators, etc.). This emissions can be offset by purchasing carbon offset credits certified by public authorities.
・Certificates of J-Credit System (Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, etc.)
・Certificate of Yokohama Blue Carbon Offset System (Yokohama City)
3 Use of fuels with low carbon dioxide emissions
It is also effective to change the fuel used in generators and construction machinery at construction sites to fuel that emits less carbon dioxide.
・GTL fuel (abbreviation for Gas to Liquid)
It is a clean diesel oil alternative fuel that maintains the same properties as petroleum-derived products and has low environmental impact while maintaining the same properties as petroleum-derived products.
※When you utilize other fuels, you have you confirm the following "about conduct of construction", and please talk with Motoichi ordering section beforehand.
About the implementation of construction
When we carry out the above-mentioned global warming measures in Motoichi ordering construction, we discuss with Motoichi ordering section beforehand and list in construction plan and can carry out.
If global warming countermeasures are implemented, it can be used as part of the site environmental improvement costs (for rate recording) recorded in the construction contract costs. (Please refer to the standard cost estimation standard for civil engineering work.)
In addition, if global warming countermeasures are implemented, additional evaluations can be made in the construction performance evaluation.
