[Finished] "Climate Change x Art" Workshop

~ Exploring the possibilities of art to make carbon neutrality "oneself" ~

Last update date February 28, 2023

Outline of the event

Amid concerns about the intensifying weather disasters caused by climate change, climate change countermeasures in Japan and overseas are accelerating, taking into account the Paris Agreement, an international framework for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and the government's action plan for global warming countermeasures. Yokohama City has just revised the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Action Plan in January 2023, and will further promote global warming countermeasures in the future.
Greenhouse gas emissions in the city are decreasing year by year, but emissions from the household sector have become almost constant, and it is important to work on reducing greenhouse gases on your own.
In recent years, there has been movements to express the current state of climate change and the crises through art, and it is hoped that these movements will give you a chance to feel closer to climate change and work on your own.
Based on this background, we will hold a workshop to think about the possibilities of art to make carbon neutrality "oneself".
