Awareness survey on decarbonization

In order to promote the decarbonization efforts of small and medium-sized businesses in the city, we conducted a survey on the status and issues of decarbonization, the introduction status of renewable energy and energy-saving equipment, etc.

Overview

1 Reasons for conducting decarbonization activities
 "Responding to social demands" was the highest at 63% (+2% compared to the previous survey), and the third in the previous survey was 42% (+8% compared to the previous survey). The result was the second highest.
2 Issues in addressing decarbonization
 53% (+7% compared to the previous survey) said it was difficult to generate funds to cope with cost increases, and 41% (-6% compared to the previous survey), indicating that information on decarbonization is being disseminated.
3 Implementation status of initiatives for decarbonization
 As in the previous survey, “LED lighting” was the most common at 64% (+7% compared to the previous survey), and while the second most common “air conditioning, energy saving and energy saving of lighting” was 52% (+1% compared to the previous survey) and there was no significant change.

Overview

1 Regarding the necessity of addressing decarbonization
 About 80% (82%) think we need to work positively on decarbonization, including "we feel the necessity and are already working on it" and "we think we need to work on it, but we have not yet worked on it."
2 Issues in addressing decarbonization
 "Insufficient knowledge and know-how" (47%) and "It is difficult to generate funds to cope with cost increases" (46%), both of which were more than 40%, indicating that there were no major changes by industry or scale.
3 Do you conduct management and business activities with the perspective of contributing to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?
 About 30% (33%) of the respondents answered that they are engaged in management and business activities with a view to contributing to the SDGs, and 17% answered that they are considering measures.
