Overview of Public Offerings

Yokohama City has positioned decarbonization as a new growth strategy, promoting the circulation and sustainable development of the city's economy as a whole, accelerating efforts to achieve the SDGs in 2030 and realize a decarbonized society by 2050. Therefore, we are soliciting proposals from experimental project that will promote decarbonization and resolution of local issues and create bustle. We will support up to 5 million yen per year for selected projects.

Target area

Yokohama city
(However, there are regional issues in the proposed area, mainly in the suburban area, and we will propose solutions to issues using renewable energy.)

Basic Conditions (Excerpt)

The target is an organization (composition company) in which local residents and companies are united, and proposals that meet the basic conditions.
①Local production and local consumption of renewable energy (power generation and consumption in the proposed area) and community development proposals that simultaneously solve local issues and create bustle.

②Funds related to the resolution of regional issues will be based on contributions from the use of renewable energy, usage fees for local activity bases, mobility and shopping support, etc.
 Develop a sustainable management plan.
