Q

Can I change my current magnetic commuter pass to a PASMO commuter pass? In that case, do I need a fee?

If you have a commuter pass issued by a municipal subway (the issuer is listed on the face of the ticket), you can change it at each municipal subway station office or Customer Service Center (Center Minami Station, Yokohama Station, Kami-Ooka Station).
There is no fee, but a deposit of 500 yen will be required separately.
If you change the magnetic commuter pass information to your existing PASMO, there is no deposit.

Commuter commuter passes for attending cram schools, commuter passes for practical training, and commuter passes with fractional dates cannot be changed to PASMO commuter passes, so please use the conventional magnetic commuter passes. (As an exception, in the case of a commuter pass for a municipal bus alone, it can be released on PASMO.)
Changing the commuter pass for other companies to PASMO will be handled only by the commuter pass issuing company.
In addition, municipal subway, bus communication commuter pass cannot be changed from magnetic ticket to PASMO, so it is necessary to have you buy again with PASMO.

※The handling of each station office is from 7:00 to 22:00.
