I would like to introduce the useful IC card PASMO.

What is PASMO?
PASMO is a convenient IC card that allows you to pay train and bus fares and shop without having to prepare small change by charging (deposit) in advance.
You can easily get on and transit trains and buses in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
This is a single train and a bus ride.
PASMO is a transportation IC card that can be used for most trains and buses in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
The ticket gate passes through with touch!
Both PASMO and Suica simply touch the reading section of IC compatible ticket gates and IC-compatible toll machines without taking out the regular pass.
It can also be used for shopping!
There are also PASMO and Suica merchants that can be used as electronic money.
Use of PASMO in municipal transportation
- Municipal Subway commuter passes and municipal bus commuter passes can be issued with one PASMO.
- If you board outside the commuter pass section, you can automatically settle out-of-section fares with the charge.

How to use it on municipal subway
Available on all lines of municipal Subways (Blue Line / Green Line).
It can be used simply by touching the IC reading part of the automatic ticket gate without putting in and out PASMO (Suica) from the regular insertion.
The ticket gate dedicated to PASMO (Suica) is marked with "pink".
Please touch the IC reading part firmly.
You can charge PASMO (Suica) with an automatic ticket vending machine (touch panel type), charge machine, etc.

Use of PASMO on municipal buses
It can be used on all municipal buses.
Touch PASMO/Suica on the automatic change machine IC reading area. The fare is automatically deducted from PASMO / Suica.

If you are applying child fares or various discount fares, please inform us in advance.
It can be charged inside the bus, but please charge at a station, supermarket, convenience store, etc. before boarding for smooth operation.

PASMO for children
- For children, only the registration form is required. There is no anonymous PASMO. PASMO is a PASMO that can be used by registered persons at child fares.
- At the time of purchase, we will confirm the identity of the person. If you already have a pediatric PASMO or Suica, you will not be able to purchase the second pediatric PASMO.
- After April 1, the age of 12, you will no longer be able to use the charged amount or commuter pass. Please come to your local commuter pass sales counter (excluding subway ticket vending machines) as it will be changed to adult PASMO. PASMO will switch for adults. If the expiration date of the commuter pass remains, a refund will be made.
- Mobile PASMO is not available.
PASMO for people with disabilities
- PASMO for persons with disabilities is a pair of PASMO, a card for the disabled person and a card for a caregiver.
- PASMO for persons with disabilities are Type 1 Physically Handicapped and Type 1 Intellectually Handicapped and one caregiver. There is no need for children.
- PASMO for people with disabilities is registered only. There is no anonymous PASMO. PASMO is a PASMO that can be used by the registered person and one caregiver at a discount fare for the disabled.
- At the time of purchase, check the certificate of the physically handicapped or the nursing certificate. If you already have PASMO for the disabled or Suica for the disabled, you will not be able to purchase the second set of PASMO for the disabled.
- PASMO for persons with disabilities has a one-year validity period. Please renew at a railway operator (except some) handling PASMO within the validity period
- Municipal Subways and municipal buses can be used when (1) disabled persons and caregivers ride the same journey at the same time, and (2) disabled people ride alone. In addition, caregiver can not use alone.
- For information on how to use PASMO for people with disabilities in transportation companies other than municipal subways and municipal buses, please contact the company you use.
- Please note that if a person with a disability rides with other tickets such as a special ticket for the elderly, a special welfare ticket, ticket, a coupon, a one-day ticket, etc.
- PASMO for persons with disabilities can only be purchased for PASMO for persons with disabilities. In addition, if you purchase a commuter pass only on the card for the person with a disability, you will not be able to use the caregiver card within the validity section of the commuter pass.

- Registered PASMO and PASMO commuter pass can not be used by anyone other than the registered person. Also, if you do not register your personal information correctly, you may not be able to reissue or refund.
- The fare discount is applied when purchasing a commuter pass with a discount fare for physically and mentally disabled people is as follows.

Mobile PASMO

Purchasing commuter pass through mobile PASMO
Mobile PASMO allows you to purchase municipal buses, subway commuter passes, and commuter passes. (※1、※2)
You can use the mobile PASMO app to purchase.
Customers cannot purchase at the Service Center, municipal bus commuter pass sales counter, or municipal subway stations (ticket vending machines / station office).
※1: Commuter passes for elementary school students and junior high school students under 12 years old are not available.
※2: Municipal buses are available only for commuter buses.
How to use mobile PASMO
It can be used in the same way as a regular PASMO card.
※The position of the reading unit varies depending on the mobile device, so touch it carefully.
※If multiple cards are registered in the terminal, please set the card you want to use before boarding.
