We use discount commuter passes for people with disabilities of municipal subways at PASMO. Is there a fare discount when boarding outside the regular section?

Discount fares will not be applied if you ride outside the regular section with PASMO (excluding PASMO for people with disabilities) and participate with an automatic ticket gate. You can get a discount on the unit of 1 yen by entering from the automatic ticket gate at the boarding station, and presenting the disability certificate and PASMO to the staff at the counter at the getting off station. If the caregiver receives a discount, the disabled and the caregiver must have their respective PASMOs.

If you get on outside the regular section with PASMO for people with disabilities, you can automatically receive a discount on the 1 yen unit fare when participating with an automatic ticket gate at the getting off station. If the caregiver receives a discount, the disabled and the caregiver must have their own PASMO for the disabled.
