Yokohama City recognizes and supports city companies that actively promote the creation of a work environment where men and women can work together as the "Yokohama Good Balance Award" in order to promote the active participation and work-life balance of women. I am.
In fiscal 2019, 42 companies were newly certified, and the number of certified companies was 178, a record high. From among certified companies, companies that are implementing excellent initiatives that serve as a model for other companies will be awarded a "special prize", and "continuation prize" will be awarded according to the total number of certifications.
The certification and award ceremony will be held in Yokohama Media and Communications Center from 11:00 on Monday, January 20, 2020.
