In Yokohama City, at the former Kami Seya Communication Facility (242ha), which was returned from the U.S. military in June 2015, we promote the development of urban infrastructure, improve local recognition and image, and further promote leading town development in Japan and overseas. We are promoting the invitation of the International Horticultural Expo to contribute.
At the annual general meeting of the International Horticultural Association (AIPH) held in Beijing on September 9, Yokohama City applied for the 2027 International Horticultural Expo and was approved.
In the future, by sending a government support letter, it will be officially positioned as the AIPH International Horticultural Expo (A1 Class).
We will continue to work with the government and other related organizations to hold the International Horticultural Expo.
