On February 17, 2020, the government (Ministry of Defense, South Kanto Defense Bureau) submitted by Motoichi regarding "Request for suspension of construction of family housing in Ikego residential area and Navy auxiliary facilities in Yokohama city area (request)" A response was sent to the city and accepted.
