On October 14, 2019, the Mayors' Association of Designated City (Chairman: The Mayor of Yokohama Fumiko Hayashi) applied the "Action Plan for Designated City Mayors for Wide Area and Large-Scale Disasters" to local governments affected by Typhoon No. 19 in 2019.
