In Yokohama City, female farmers who are proactively involved in agricultural management and local activities are referred to as "Yokohama / Yume / Farmers" in order to aim for a rich town of Yokohama with agriculture where female farmers can work and live vigorously. Certified.
In 2023, we authorize three female farmers as the 28th Yokohama, Yume, Farmer. From 1996, when this system started this year, 142 people will be certified as "Yokohama / Yume / Farmers".
Going forward, we will continue to provide support through facility tours, study sessions, and exchange meetings, and use them to create networks and capacity development for female farmers.
