Yokohama City has set up the "Yokohama City Sewerage Business Management Study Group" for the purpose of conducting research and deliberation on necessary matters concerning the management of sewerage business.
At the 9th Management Study Group, which was established in December 2021, discussed the themes of "Review of the term of the Sewerage Business Medium-Term Management Plan 2018", "Sewerage Business Medium-Term Management Plan 2022", and "Long-term Financial Management". On November 21, 2023, Chair Satoshi Takizawa Professor, Graduate School of the University of Tokyo) submitted a report.
In this report, we received suggestions on the long-term financial management of the sewerage business. We will make use of the proposals we have in future planning and financial management of future sewerage business.
