We conducted training in preparation for heavy rain at sewerage facilities (water reclamation center, pumping station).

　Every year, in preparation for heavy rain after the rainy season, the sewerage facilities in Yokohama City carry out a “simultaneous inspection” to check the status of maintenance and training status of major facilities such as rainwater pumps and private power generation facilities.
　This year, on June 8 (Thursday), we conducted training on dealing with heavy rain, and as a new initiative, drills using drones at all water reclamation centers. As a result, a system has been established in which staff members use drones to inspect facilities in the event of a disaster.
　In addition, the "Yokohama Pipe Equipment Association" and the "Japan Construction Industry Federation Kanto Branch", which have concluded "Agreement on Cooperation for First Aid Measures in the Event of a Disaster regarding Yokohama City Sewerage Facilities" as in the previous fiscal year. Through collaboration, joint training was conducted assuming a disaster.
