Koshiba Nature Park (Kanazawa Ward), which is under construction on the site of the former Koshiba oil storage facility, will open at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023. This is the first large-scale park to be opened to citizens among U.S. military facilities that were decided to be returned in 2004, such as the former Kami Seya Communication Facility. (Approximately 1.5 ha of the first phase area was opened in advance in July 2021.) In addition, the park aims to enable all children to play together, regardless of disabilities, etc. Open for the first time in Yokohama City.
