This year is the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the city park system by Taisei Government No. 16. In Yokohama, the Yamate Park opened in 1870 and Yokohama Park in 1876. To commemorate this milestone year, we will look back on the history of Yokohama parks so far and hold a symposium "Yokohama Park 150 Years and Future" to think about the future of parks, and hold the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition (GREEN × EXPO 2027).
