Overview

Yokohama City has been working on the ITOPI Yokohama Lab, which aims to create new projects by providing a demonstration field. In collaboration with Yokohama City Housing Supply Corporation, we are looking for proposals for new IoT products and services that provide apartment owned by the company as a demonstration field, and are looking for proposals for new IoT products and services that will provide comfortable homes.

Eligibility for application

・Already participating in ITOPI Yokohama. You must apply for participation at the same time as applying.

・The ideas for products and services have been embodied, and prototypes have already been completed for immediate demonstration experiments.

・Products and services under the concept that have not yet been sold (commercialized) by the applicant. (However, if you are planning a new business targeting customers in other fields that are different from the existing ones, among products and services that have already been launched, the new business under concept and the theme of “I ・ TOP Yokohama Lab” in the second installment match the theme of “I ・ TOP Yokohama Lab” will be deemed eligible.)

What is I/TOPI Yokohama?

Yokohama City has launched "IoT Open Innovation Partners (ITOP Yokohama)" as a place for exchange and collaboration, project promotion, and human resource development, to create business utilizing IoT and other technologies. In collaboration with various companies and organizations in Japan and overseas, ITOPI Yokohama is working to develop products and services with high value-added products and services, create new businesses, and solve social issues using new technologies.

What is the I/TOPI Yokohama Lab?

Yokohama is facing social issues such as declining birthrate and aging population, declining working-age population, and aging urban infrastructure, mainly in suburban areas. On the other hand, various international events are held in Yokohama, and it is also a city that has opportunities for future leaps, such as disseminating the appeal of the city and revitalizing the economy. Under these circumstances, ITOPI Yokohama has established the "ITOP Yokohama Lab" as a new framework in order to solve the issues and possibilities of Yokohama through IoT and to develop and satisfy the needs through IoT and to develop and fulfill their needs through IoT.
