Demonstration experiment implementation report and case introduction
- In the fifth installment of the I-TOP Yokohama Lab, in cooperation with the Yokohama Southern Market, we solicited proposals for products and services that will create even more bustling commercial facilities and markets during the COVID-19 pandemic and realize efficient facility management, and adopted nine proposals.
- The proposed proposal was a demonstration experiment of products and services in the Southern Yokohama Market (Business Area (Commercial Facilities) and Logistics Area (Market).

We reviewed "I.TOP Yokohama Lab" Activation of Commercial Facilities and Markets in Corona Disaster ", which was recruited from February 10, 2022, and adopted the following nine proposals.

[IoT service business utilizing batteryless devices] Using a batteryless device, the door of a private toilet can be opened and closed remotely, and the status of vacant rooms is displayed on a monitor installed at the entrance of the central toilet in the southern part of the branch Yokohama market. We will verify whether encouraging guidance to other toilets will reduce the waiting queue for toilets and improve customer satisfaction. |

[Intelligent Sidewalk/Intelligent Intersection] Verify whether it is possible to create a safe space for pedestrians and vehicles by notifying pedestrians passing through cross-bands of the approach of the vehicle through sensors that detect the movement of vehicles and pedestrians and light and voice devices linked to sensors. In addition, a light warning is issued to vehicles measured at a certain level of speed, and it is also verified whether it contributes to improving safety in the site. |
