We started an IoT demonstration experiment using apartment in Yokohama.

As part of the I-TOP Yokohama Lab initiative, Yokohama City, in cooperation with Yokohama City Housing Supply Corporation, provided apartment as a demonstration field, solicited proposals from July to August 2020 regarding demonstration tests of new IoT products and services for responding to COVID-19 infections and creating comfortable homes. Four of these projects have already been undertaken.
This time, various adjustments were made with dwelling units and building managers who had intention to cooperate with the demonstration experiment, and a new demonstration experiment was started for two completed projects. In the future, we will start demonstration experiments on the remaining proposals.
Through this initiative, we will further promote the “Innovation City Yokohama” and utilize the results obtained in our efforts to revitalize suburban residential areas and housing complex.
