Expectations and solution examples of solutions

In this project, we plan to use "farmland in the city" as a field for demonstration experiments. We are looking forward to proposals for new IoT products and services that will save labor in agricultural work in urban agriculture, support crop cultivation, and improve the farming environment.

(1) Measures to support crop cultivation in agricultural areas

  • Diagnostic imaging systems, cameras, etc. that contribute to crop cultivation support and work efficiency by utilizing AI and other technologies

(2) Safety Measures for Farming Vehicles in Agricultural Areas

  • Systems (sensors, alarm devices, etc.) that are added to existing agricultural vehicles to improve the safety of agricultural work.

(3) Measures against wild birds and beasts in agricultural areas

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night monitoring drones (e.g., emits sounds and smells that wild animals avoid when detected), etc.

(4) Effective measures against illegal dumping in agricultural areas (farmland/adjacent roads)

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night monitoring drones (equipped with face recognition system, etc.)

(5) Prevention of crop theft in agricultural areas

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night monitoring drones (equipped with face recognition system, etc.)

※Because there are many farmland adjacent to residential areas, any of the items (1) to (5) are specifications that make loud noises at night or that are easily damaged by inadvertently touching the general public. Not desirable.

Eligibility for application

  • Already participating in ITOPI Yokohama. You must apply for participation at the same time as applying.
  • The ideas for products and services have been embodied, and prototypes have already been completed for immediate demonstration experiments. (After adoption, prototype development will begin, and those that require a certain period of time to prove products and services will be deemed not to be eligible for application.)
  • The proposal for “I ・ TOP Yokohama Lab” is a new product / service that matches the purpose and theme, and a demonstration experiment of products and services for a certain period of time on farmland cultivated by farmers in Yokohama City. What you want and planning. (If you wish or do not plan a demonstration experiment on a new product or service (eg, you only want to match with a farmer), you will be deemed not eligible to apply.
