Overview of Application

Overview

Yokohama City is working on the ITOP Yokohama Lab, which aims to create a new project by providing a demonstration field. We are recruiting proposals for demonstration experiments on new IoT products and services that realize labor saving in agricultural work in urban agriculture, support cultivation of crops, and improvement of the farming environment in farmland cultivated by farmers in Yokohama City. I will do it.

Examples of proposals and solutions for the expected demonstration experiment

In this project, we plan to use "farmland in the city" as a field for demonstration experiments. We look forward to proposals for new IoT products and services that will save labor in urban agriculture, support cultivation of crops, and improve the farming environment.

(1) Measures to support crop cultivation in agricultural areas

  • Image diagnostic systems, cameras, etc. that contribute to the cultivation of crops and the efficiency of work using AI, etc.

(2) Safety measures for farm work vehicles in agricultural areas

  • Systems (sensors, alarm devices, etc.) that are added to existing agricultural vehicles to improve the safety of agricultural work, etc.

(3) Measures against wild birds and beasts in agricultural areas

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night surveillance drones (e.g., emit sounds and smells that wild animals avoid when detected), etc.

(4) Effective measures against illegal dumping in agricultural areas (farmland/adjacent roads)

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night surveillance drones (with face recognition system, etc.), etc.

(5) Measures against theft of agricultural products in agricultural areas

  • Surveillance cameras linked to the cloud that can be easily operated by farmers.
  • Night surveillance drones (with face recognition system, etc.), etc.

※Because there are many agricultural lands adjacent to residential areas, specifications such as (1) to (5) that make loud noises at night and those that are easy to damage due to careless contact by the general public is desirable not.

Eligibility

  • You have already participated in I.TOP Yokohama. You must apply for participation at the same time as the application.
  • Ideas for products and services have been embodied, and prototypes for immediate implementation of demonstration experiments have already been completed. (After adoption, prototype development will begin, and if it takes a certain period of time to demonstrate products and services, it will be deemed that you are not eligible to apply.)
  • The proposals for "I. TOP Yokohama Lab" are new products and services that match the objectives and themes, and conduct demonstration experiments of products and services for a certain period of time on farmland cultivated by farmers in Yokohama City. Hope and plan. (If you wish or do not plan a demonstration experiment on a new product or service (for example, only want matching with a farmer), it is considered that you are not eligible to apply.
